Menconi + Schoelkopf is a leading gallery in the field of American art, focusing on the finest works created in this country between 1800 and 1960. Formed in 2001 by Susan Menconi and Andrew Schoelkopf, the gallery has superior expertise in the areas of modernism, American Impressionism, the Ashcan Movement, and in the work of the 19th Century genre and landscape painters of the Hudson River School, as well as American modernism and paintings from the early Post-War years.

Our business is built on a model that allows us to focus on the best quality American works of art, and we are known in the industry for providing our clients with a wealth of experience and uncompromising principles and ethics. We view our mission as helping families, museums, and private collectors to make better informed decisions about the purchase and sale of important American works of art.

Speaking with collectors about American Art is the greatest joy our work brings us. If you would like to discuss a particular work or the state of the market generally, we welcome your inquiry and look forward to speaking with you.
